How to add or change your bank IBAN for Maclear withdrawals

Maclear does not allow IBANs to be added manually. To register a new bank account for withdrawals, make a deposit from that account. Any transfer amount is accepted for IBAN registration, including a €1 test transfer. Once received and the account name is confirmed as matching your Maclear investor profile, the IBAN is automatically added to your withdrawal list.

How to add a new IBAN to your Maclear withdrawal list

IBANs on Maclear are verified through incoming transfers, not manual entry. To register a new bank account:

  • Go to Deposit / Withdraw in your Maclear dashboard.

  • Use the new bank account to send a SEPA transfer to Maclear. Any amount is accepted for IBAN registration. A €1 test transfer is sufficient if you only want to register the account. The standard minimum of €50 applies only when depositing funds to invest.

  • Include your personal deposit reference number in the payment details (displayed in the Deposit section of your account).

  • Once the transfer is received and the account name is confirmed as matching your Maclear investor profile, the IBAN is automatically verified.

  • The new IBAN appears in the dropdown under the Withdraw tab and is immediately available for withdrawals.

    • Deposits typically take 1–3 business days to reach your Maclear balance. Once credited, the IBAN becomes available in the withdrawal list without any additional steps.

    How to change your withdrawal IBAN on Maclear

    There is no separate "change IBAN" function on the platform. To use a different bank account for withdrawals, register it the same way as a new IBAN: make a deposit from that account. Once verified, both the old and new IBANs appear in the withdrawal dropdown, and you can select whichever account you want to withdraw to.

    Previous IBANs remain available unless the underlying bank account has been closed. There is no limit on the number of verified IBANs you can have on your Maclear profile.

    Why can't I add an IBAN manually on Maclear?

    For AML compliance reasons, Maclear only accepts IBANs verified through an actual incoming transfer. This confirms that the account belongs to you and that the name on the account matches your Maclear investor profile. IBANs submitted without a corresponding deposit cannot be added to your withdrawal list (Maclear General Terms and Conditions, section 3.5).

    How long does it take for a new IBAN to appear in my withdrawal list?

    A new IBAN appears in your withdrawal list once the deposit from that account has been successfully credited to your Maclear balance. Deposits typically take 1–3 business days to process. Once credited, the IBAN becomes available in the Withdraw tab dropdown immediately.

    Can I use a €1 test transfer to register a new IBAN?

    Yes. Any transfer amount from the new account is sufficient to register the IBAN, including €1. The standard minimum deposit of €50 applies only when depositing funds to invest. The account name on the transfer must match your Maclear investor profile.

    What if my new IBAN is not appearing in the withdrawal list after the deposit was credited?

    If your deposit has been credited but the IBAN is not showing in the withdrawal dropdown, contact support@maclear.ch with your transaction confirmation document. The support team will verify the transfer and confirm the IBAN manually if needed.
