Can I use Wise, Revolut, or a neobank to deposit funds on Maclear?

Yes. Deposits from Wise, Revolut, and other neobank accounts are accepted on Maclear on the same terms as regular bank transfers. The account must be registered under the same name as your Maclear investor account. The minimum deposit is €50. Once credited, the IBAN is automatically verified and added to your withdrawal options.
Neobank accounts work through the same SEPA transfer process as traditional bank accounts. Go to Deposit / Withdraw in your dashboard, use the bank details shown in the Deposit section, and include your personal deposit reference number in the payment details. Transfers without a reference number cannot be matched automatically and will require manual processing — up to 4 business days.
Are neobank deposits processed the same way as regular bank transfers?
Yes. Maclear processes SEPA transfers from neobanks the same way as transfers from traditional banks: 1–3 business days for the transfer to reach Maclear's banking partner, plus automated crediting the following business morning. All incoming transfers also go through mandatory AML compliance checks before funds appear in your account — this applies regardless of the sending institution.
If your deposit does not appear after 3 business days, send your transaction confirmation document (PDF) to support@maclear.ch so the team can trace the transfer.
Can I use a neobank IBAN for withdrawals on Maclear?
Yes. Once a deposit from your neobank account is successfully credited to your Maclear balance, the IBAN is automatically verified and added to your withdrawal list. No manual setup is required. The same minimum withdrawal amount of €50 applies.
Are neobank statements accepted as Proof of Address on Maclear automatically?
Not automatically. Neobank statements, including those from Wise, Revolut, N26, Monzo, and similar providers, are not accepted by the automated verification system. If a neobank statement is the only document available, contact support@maclear.chbefore submitting — the team will review it manually. For a full list of accepted POA documents, see Article.
What if my neobank deposit is flagged or delayed?
Delays can occur if the transfer is sent under a business name rather than your personal name, or if the AML review requires additional time. If 3 business days have passed and the deposit has not appeared, send the following to support@maclear.ch:
Transaction confirmation document (PDF) from your neobank
Full name shown on your neobank account
The support team will trace the transfer and confirm whether additional verification is needed.
