How to withdraw funds from Maclear: minimum amount, fees, and processing time

You can withdraw any funds marked as "Available in Maclear" in your account — these are funds not currently invested in active projects. The minimum withdrawal amount is €50, there are no withdrawal fees, and Maclear processes all requests within 1–2 business days. Withdrawals are only possible to a verified IBAN registered under the same name as your Maclear investor account.

To make a withdrawal:

  • Go to Deposit / Withdraw in your dashboard.

  • Under the Withdraw tab, select your verified IBAN from the dropdown.

  • Enter the amount and click Withdraw to confirm.

  • You will receive an email confirmation with the transaction details.

Transfers within the eurozone typically arrive within one business day after processing. For transfers outside the eurozone, your bank's processing times may apply. If your withdrawal has not arrived after 3 business days, see Article.

What is the minimum withdrawal amount on Maclear?

The minimum withdrawal amount is €50 (Maclear General Terms and Conditions, section 3.8).

Is there a withdrawal fee on Maclear?

No. Maclear does not charge any withdrawal fees. However, your bank may apply its own transfer fee — you will see the exact amount in your bank's app or online banking before confirming the transfer. These fees are outside Maclear's control and are charged by your bank directly.

How long does a Maclear withdrawal take to arrive?

Withdrawal requests are processed by Maclear within 1–2 business days. Eurozone transfers typically arrive within one business day after processing. For transfers outside the eurozone, your bank's processing times may apply.

Can I withdraw funds that are currently invested in projects?

No. Only funds marked as "Available in Maclear" can be withdrawn. Funds committed to or invested in active projects cannot be withdrawn until the loan is repaid (Maclear General Terms and Conditions, section 3.8). If you need to exit an investment earlier, you can list it on the Secondary Market — keep in mind that sales depend on buyer demand and are not guaranteed.

Can I withdraw from Maclear to a bank account in someone else's name?

Maclear withdrawals only go to bank accounts in the same name as your investor profile (T&Cs §3.5 and §3.8) — third-party transfers are blocked under Swiss AML. A "verified IBAN" is any account that has previously deposited to Maclear; manual entry isn't possible. If your legal name has changed, send updated ID to support before withdrawing.

How to add or change your bank IBAN for Maclear withdrawals

Maclear does not allow IBANs to be added manually for AML compliance reasons. To register a new bank account for withdrawals, make a €50+ deposit from that account. Once the transfer is received and the name on the sender's account is verified as matching your Maclear profile, the IBAN is automatically added to your withdrawal dropdown — usually within 1–3 business days.
