The Maclear Loyalty Bonus is an additional return of 1.5% to 3% per annum added on top of the standard project interest rate. It activates automatically once your total active investment portfolio reaches €5,000 — no application needed. The bonus scales across four levels: Beta, Beta Plus, Alpha, and Alpha Plus.

What are the Maclear Loyalty Bonus levels?

There are four levels, each tied to a total active investment threshold:

The level is assigned automatically as soon as your total portfolio crosses a threshold.

How is the Loyalty Bonus calculated?

The bonus percentage is added to the project's annual interest rate and paid out monthly together with your base interest. If a project offers 14% APR and you hold Beta Plus status, you earn 16% on that investment.

The rate is fixed at the moment your investment is funded — when the project moves from "Collecting" to "Funded" status. If your loyalty level changes after that, the rate on existing funded investments stays unchanged. Only investments still in Reserved status reflect the updated level.

Example: You invest at Beta (+1.5%) and the project funds. Your portfolio then crosses €15,000 and you reach Beta Plus (+2%). That existing investment continues earning at +1.5%. Your next investment earns at +2%.

Which investments qualify for the Loyalty Bonus?

The bonus applies to investments on both the Primary Market and the Secondary Market. Secondary Market purchases count toward your total portfolio volume — buying there can raise your loyalty level and earn the corresponding bonus on the purchased investment.

Does the loyalty level drop when a project is repaid?

Yes. Loyalty level is based on your current total active investments, not a cumulative historical figure. When a project is repaid, your total decreases. If it falls below a threshold, your level drops.

Example: You hold Alpha level with €40,000 invested. A €7,000 project is repaid. Your total drops to €33,000 — below the Alpha threshold — and your level reverts to Beta Plus (+2%) until you reinvest enough to cross €40,000 again.

Can I skip loyalty levels?

Yes. Levels are assigned by threshold, not sequential progression. If you invest €50,000 at once, you reach Alpha directly without passing through Beta or Beta Plus first.

Can I earn the Loyalty Bonus alongside the €30 per €500 promotion?

Yes. The Loyalty Bonus and the €30 per €500 invested promotion are calculated separately and can apply to the same investment at the same time, provided all conditions for each are met.

How often does my loyalty status update?

The loyalty level updates immediately after each new investment. There is no delay or weekly processing cycle.

Where can I check my loyalty status?

Go to the Overview section of your Maclear account. You will see a loyalty progress bar showing your current level, the bonus percentage you are earning, and the amount needed to reach the next level.

How to add or change your bank IBAN for Maclear withdrawals

Maclear doesn't allow manual IBAN entry — a new account registers itself through an incoming deposit. Any amount qualifies, including a €1 test transfer (the €50 minimum applies only to investment deposits). Once the sender name matches your profile, the IBAN auto-appears in the withdrawal dropdown. Previous IBANs stay listed — no limit on verified IBANs.

Maclear verification rejections usually trace to document quality (expired, blurry, cropped, photocopied), unsupported types (only passport, national ID, or residence permit accepted), or selfie issues (poor lighting, glasses, low resolution). Most cases resolve by retaking on a smartphone in good lighting and resubmitting immediately. Driving licences and neobank statements aren't accepted.

What documents are required for Maclear verification: ID, proof of address, and scan rules

Maclear verification has two parts: identity (KYC) and proof of address (POA), processed via Sumsub. Accepted ID: passport, national ID, residence permit — valid and not expiring within one month. Accepted POA: government, utility/telecom, bank, or lease documents from the last 3 months. Neobank statements need manual review; photocopies are always rejected.

Can I use Wise, Revolut, or a neobank to deposit funds on Maclear?

Maclear accepts SEPA deposits from Wise, Revolut, N26, and other neobanks on the same terms as traditional banks — same-name account required, €50 minimum, 1–3 BD processing. Once credited, the IBAN auto-registers for withdrawals. Neobank statements are not auto-accepted as Proof of Address — contact support first if it's your only POA option.
