How to change your email address on Maclear

Email address changes on Maclear are handled by the support team for security reasons. To request a change, send a selfie holding your passport or national ID to support@maclear.ch or via the support chat by clicking "Answer didn't help me." After identity verification, the team will update your email address within 1–2 business days.

Why can't I change my email address myself in account settings?

Email changes require identity confirmation through support to ensure the security of your account.

What stays the same after changing your email?

Changing your email address does not affect any other part of your account. The following remain fully intact:

  • KYC and POA verification status — no re-verification required

  • Form A — does not need to be signed again

  • All active investments and their schedules

  • AutoInvest strategies and settings

  • Loyalty status and bonus history

  • Transaction and deposit history

  • Referral links and referral rewards

Your new email address will be used for all future login attempts, notifications, and platform communications.

Will I need to redo KYC or POA after changing my email?

No. Changing your email address does not affect your verification status. Your KYC, POA, and Form A remain valid after the email is updated.

How to restore access to Maclear if you lost your 2FA code

Recovery from a lost Maclear 2FA code depends on your 16-digit backup key. With the key, re-add the account in Google Authenticator and codes resume immediately. Without it, email support@maclear.ch with a selfie holding your ID — the team unbinds 2FA within 1–5 business days, after which any method can be set up again.
