Can I invest in the same Maclear project multiple times?

Yes. You can invest in the same project as many times as you want while it remains in Open status and has not yet reached its funding target. There is no limit on the number of investments per project — each contribution is treated as a separate transaction. This allows you to increase your position gradually or deploy additional funds as they become available. Minimum per investment: €50.

Is there a limit on how many times I can invest in one project?

No. You can add to your position in increments of €50 or more at any time while the project remains in Open status. Once the project is fully funded, it is closed to further investment.

What happens if the project fills up while I am investing?

If you submit an investment while the project is close to its funding limit, the amount actually invested may be less than the amount you entered.

This happens when the remaining funding capacity is smaller than your submitted amount — either because the project was nearly full when you invested, or because another investor filled part of the remaining capacity at the same moment.

In that case, the available amount is invested and the remainder stays in your account balance. For example: you submit €500, but only €342 of funding capacity remains in the project at the time your transaction is processed. €342 is invested and €158 remains in your Maclear balance.

If the project reaches 100% funding before your transaction is processed at all, no funds are deducted and the full amount remains in your balance.

In all cases, no funds are lost — any uninvested amount stays in your Maclear account immediately.

Why would I invest in the same project multiple times?

Some investors choose to increase their exposure to a specific project gradually — for example, after reviewing updated project details or waiting to see early investor interest. Others use it to deploy additional funds that arrive after their initial investment. Each additional investment is subject to the same terms and interest rate as the original.

Can I cancel one of my investments in a project if I invested multiple times?

No. Reservation cancellation is not available on Maclear. Once you confirm an investment, your funds are reserved for the project and the commitment is binding. If you need to exit your position after the project is funded, you can list your investment on the Secondary Market.

How does investing multiple times in the same project affect my portfolio statistics?

Multiple investments in the same project appear as separate entries in My Investments. However, in the My Projects overview, the project is counted only once — regardless of how many times you have invested in it.
