How to set up AutoInvest on Maclear: step-by-step strategy guide

To create an AutoInvest strategy on Maclear, open the AutoInvest section from the left navigation panel and click Create. Define your strategy name, investment amount range, minimum interest rate, loan term, risk level, countries, and project types. You can activate it immediately or save as a draft. Up to 10 strategies can be saved; multiple can be active at the same time. The minimum investment amount per project is €50.

Before you start

AutoInvest requires completed POA verification and a signed Form A. If either step is incomplete, your strategies will not activate.

To access the feature: log in to app.maclear.ch and open the Autoinvest section from the left navigation panel.

A note on strategy design

The parameters you set determine which projects your strategy matches. A strategy that is too narrow — a tight APR range combined with specific country filters — may match few or no projects. A strategy that is too broad may invest in projects outside your actual risk tolerance. The steps below explain what each parameter controls.

Step 1 — Enable after creation (optional)

At the top of the form, a toggle controls whether the strategy activates immediately after saving.

— Toggle on: the strategy becomes active as soon as you save it. — Toggle off: the strategy is saved as a draft. Your previous active strategy, if any, remains active.

Multiple strategies can be active simultaneously.

Step 2 — Name your strategy

Enter a name in the Strategy name field. Names must be unique — duplicates are not allowed. Use a name that reflects the logic, for example: "Low-Risk Eurozone" or "High APR 12–18 months".

Step 3 — Set your investment amount

In the Investment Amount (€) section, define the minimum and maximum amounts per project. The minimum is €50.

Example: From 100 — To 500. AutoInvest will allocate any amount between €100 and €500 to each matching project.

Step 4 — Set your minimum interest rate

In the Interest Rate (from %) field, enter the lowest APR you will accept. The system will only match projects at that rate or higher.

Example: From 14. Maclear projects currently offer base rates between 14–16% APR, with up to 16.5% including bonuses.

Step 5 — Define your loan term range

In the Loan Term (Months) section, set the minimum and maximum duration. Only projects within that range will match.

Example: From 6 — To 24. Most Maclear projects currently fall between 12 and 16 months. Setting your range to cover at least this window improves matching results.

Step 6 — Select risk level (optional)

Choose one or more credit rating categories from the Risk level dropdown, or select All levels. Maclear uses a scale from AAA (exceptional) to D (default). Only projects within your selected range will be considered.

Note: this field is available in basic mode only. Enabling Advanced Settings replaces it with more granular filters.

Step 7 — Select countries (optional)

Filter by borrower country. Choose specific countries or select All Countries. When All Countries is selected, new countries added to the platform after your strategy is created are automatically included.

Step 8 — Select project types (optional)

Filter by business activity. Available categories: Manufacture, Manufactory/Production, Production, Production/Wholesale, Retail, Wholesale and Services, Services, Logistics/Transportation, Construction/Services, Agriculture, Loan Originator. Select All Types for broader matching.

Advanced settings (optional)

Enabling Advanced Settings replaces the Risk level dropdown with three additional filters:

— Maximum Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DE): filters by total liabilities divided by shareholders' equity. Default: 0.2. Range: 0.2–4.0. A lower ratio indicates a less leveraged borrower.

— Loan-to-Value (LTV): filters by loan amount divided by collateral value. Default: 40%. Range: 40%–200%. Lower LTV means stronger collateral coverage relative to the loan amount.

Credit History Score: filters by borrower payment reliability. Range: 6 to 10.

Step 9 — Save your strategy

Click Save. If you enabled auto-activation, the strategy becomes active immediately. You can deactivate, reactivate, or delete any strategy at any time.

What if multiple Maclear projects match my AutoInvest criteria at the same time?

Projects open one at a time. AutoInvest allocates your full defined amount to each project at the moment it opens — funds are not split across simultaneously opening projects. Each activation is processed independently.

Why did AutoInvest not invest in a specific Maclear project?

Common reasons:

— The project was fully funded before your position in the queue was reached. — The project parameters did not match your strategy criteria. — The project was not marked as AutoInvest-enabled by the administrator. — Your strategy was created after the project went live.
