Your Maclear Loyalty level is recalculated automatically after every investment event that changes your total active portfolio. Four events can trigger a level change — two that increase your portfolio and two that decrease it. Level updates take effect immediately and apply to all investments that reach Funded status after the change.

Does my loyalty status update in real time?
Yes. Every investment event triggers an immediate recalculation. There is no pending state or delayed confirmation. If a new investment pushes your portfolio above a threshold, your level updates as soon as that project reaches Funded status. If a repayment or Secondary Market sale pulls your portfolio below a threshold, your level adjusts downward immediately.
Can my level go down as well as up?
Yes. A loyalty level is not locked once reached. If your active portfolio drops below the threshold for your current level — through repayments or Secondary Market sales — your level adjusts downward and the lower bonus rate applies to all subsequent Funded investments.
What happens to investments already at Funded status when my level changes?
Investments already at Funded status are not recalculated. The rate locked in at their Funded date does not change regardless of subsequent level movements. Only investments that reach Funded status after the level change receive the updated rate.
