Who can invest on Maclear: eligibility requirements and country restrictions

Maclear is open to private individuals and legal entities residing in European, EEA, or UK countries.The age requirement is between 18 and 85 years, as set out in Maclear's Terms and Conditions.. Any SEPA-compatible bank account works for deposits and withdrawals — no Swiss account required. SWIFT payments for GB and MT account holders are coming soon.

Only one personal account per individual is permitted under AML policy. Legal entities can register a separate company account. Before making any investments, every investor must complete identity verification (KYC) — without it, depositing funds and accessing projects is not possible.

Can US residents invest on Maclear? Can I invest from outside Europe?

No. Maclear is currently available to residents of European, EEA, and UK countries only. Investors based outside these regions — including the United States — are not eligible to register on the platform.

Before investing, complete KYC, Proof of Address, and deposit funds. To place a first investment on Maclear, open the Projects section, review a project's APR, term, borrower profile, and risk score, enter an amount of €50 or more, and confirm. Funds move to Reserved until the project reaches its funding target, then transition to Funded with monthly interest.

Minimum investment amount on Maclear: how much do you need to start?

The Maclear minimum investment is €50 on the Primary Market and €30 on the Secondary Market. There is no minimum account balance required between investments. With €50 you can fund a single project; with €500 you can spread across ten projects — which is also the threshold for Maclear's Loyalty Bonus programme.
