What is the Maclear Loyalty Bonus: levels, conditions, and how to earn it

The Maclear Loyalty Bonus is an additional annual percentage added on top of the base interest rate of each investment. It applies automatically to all investors whose total active portfolio reaches €5,000 or more. There are four levels — Beta, Beta Plus, Alpha, and Alpha Plus — each offering a higher bonus rate. The loyalty bonus is paid monthly alongside the base interest, with no separate application required.

What are the Maclear Loyalty Bonus levels?

The level is determined by your current total active investments — the sum of all funds currently invested in Funded projects, including investments purchased on the Secondary Market. The level updates automatically and immediately after each new investment.

Investors below the €5,000 threshold are at the default PreBeta level and do not receive an additional interest bonus. PreBeta investors do receive 8LNDS token bonuses through the parallel bonus point system — covered in Articles 87–99.

How the loyalty bonus is applied

The loyalty bonus rate (APR addition) is fixed at the moment an investment reaches Funded status — not at reservation. Once fixed, the loyalty rate for that specific investment does not change, even if your loyalty level increases or decreases afterwards. Changes in loyalty level apply only to new investments made after the level change.

Example: a project offering 15% APR invested at Beta Plus level pays 17% APR (15% + 2%). If your level later drops to Beta, that existing investment continues at 17% — the recalculation does not occur.

The loyalty bonus is credited as a single monthly transaction together with the base interest payment, on the same schedule as your regular repayments.

When does the loyalty bonus start applying to my investments?

The loyalty bonus rate is applied to each investment at the moment the project reaches Funded status. While the investment is in Reserved status, the applicable rate reflects your current loyalty level and will update if your level changes before Funded status is reached. If the project was already Funded before your level changed, that investment retains the rate that was active at its Funded date.

Do Secondary Market investments count toward my Maclear Loyalty level?

Yes. Investments purchased on the Secondary Market count toward your total active portfolio in the same way as Primary Market investments. Buying on the Secondary Market can raise your loyalty level. Selling reduces your active portfolio and can lower your level if the total falls below a threshold. The loyalty bonus percentage applies to both Primary and Secondary Market investments.

Does AutoInvest qualify for the Maclear Loyalty Bonus?

Yes. Investments made through AutoInvest qualify for the Loyalty Bonus on exactly the same terms as manual investments. The AUTO label on an investment record is a tracking identifier only and has no effect on loyalty bonus eligibility or calculation.

Does the Maclear Loyalty Bonus also apply to the 8LNDS token system?

Yes, in parallel. The loyalty program governs both EUR additions to your interest rate and the 8LNDS token bonus accrual. As long as your loyalty level is active, both reward types are active simultaneously. The 8LNDS token bonus is credited in bonus units — not in EUR — at a separate percentage scale (1%–5% depending on level), and converts into tokens every Saturday.
