How to deposit funds on Maclear: payment methods, fees, and processing time

To deposit funds, your KYC and Proof of Address (POA) must be completed. Once verified, go to Deposit / Withdraw in your dashboard and use the bank details shown in the Deposit section to make a SEPA transfer. Deposited funds typically arrive within 1–3 business days. Once credited, you will receive an email notification.

Important: always include your personal deposit reference number in the payment details — it is displayed in the Deposit section of your account (for example, Deposit to account No. MC10007). Transfers without a reference number cannot be matched automatically and will require manual processing.

When setting up the transfer, make sure the beneficiary name is set to Maclear AG — do not enter your own name in the beneficiary field. The transfer must be sent from a bank account registered in the same name as your Maclear investor account. Transfers from accounts under a different name will be rejected.

What is the minimum deposit amount on Maclear?

The minimum deposit amount is €50.

Is there a deposit fee on Maclear?

No. Maclear does not charge any fees for deposits. Your bank or payment provider may apply their own transfer fees — these are outside Maclear's control and are the sender's responsibility.

Can I deposit to Maclear from multiple or third-party bank accounts?

Maclear accepts deposits from any number of bank accounts — Wise, Revolut, and other neobanks included — as long as each is registered in your name (T&Cs §3.4). Joint accounts require a one-time check showing all holders. Transfers from third-party accounts in a different name are rejected and returned to the sender.

How long does a SEPA deposit to Maclear take to appear?

SEPA transfers reach Maclear's banking partner in 1–3 business days, then funds credit to your account the next business morning via an automated crediting cycle. All incoming transfers also go through mandatory AML compliance checks — sanctions screening, name match verification, and source-of-funds review — under Swiss AMLA, PolyReg SRO rules, and FINMA Circular 2016/7.
