Maclear Leaderboard vouchers and cashback: how to earn, apply, and track them

Reaching Gold or Platinum on the Maclear Leaderboard earns you an APR voucher, while Bronze earns cashback on every €1,000 invested. Vouchers and Leaderboard Cashback are tracked separately from your other bonuses and appear in a dedicated section of your account, in your account balance transactions and in your tax statement.

How vouchers are earned as your league changes

Vouchers are granted for every league your investment total moves through as it grows. If you jump straight from Silver into Platinum, you receive both the Gold voucher and the Platinum voucher. If you later drop back down through a league, no voucher is granted for that downward move — vouchers are only issued on the way up.

Example: if you go from Silver to Gold, you get the Gold voucher. If you later drop back to Silver and climb to Gold again, you receive a new Gold voucher for that second climb. But if you drop from Platinum to Gold, you do not receive a Gold voucher for that move — only climbing back up from Gold to Platinum earns vouchers again.

If your league drops because the 30-day Grace Period (see how league changes work) expires, any vouchers you already hold are never cancelled or reduced — they remain usable until they expire naturally or you use up all 10 applications.

Where do I see my vouchers?

All vouchers you earn — from the Leaderboard or any other promotion — live in one place in your account. There you can see every active voucher, check its APR boost percentage, expiry date and remaining uses, and copy the voucher code to use at checkout. Vouchers with zero uses left, or that have expired, simply stop showing as active. General voucher rules are covered in Maclear vouchers explained.

How to use a voucher code

1. Log in to your account with your registered email and password.
2. Go to the Primary Market from the main menu.
3. Select a project with Open status and click through to its project page.
4. In the investment section with the Invest Now button, find Promocode + below it, click the + icon and a voucher input field appears.
5. Enter your voucher code (for example, invest32) and click Apply — the voucher activates and boosts your investment rate. You still need to enter the investment amount manually.
6. Tick “I agree with General Terms”, click Invest Now and confirm your investment in the pop-up window.

The voucher is applied only once you confirm the investment. After confirmation, the investment is created with the voucher rate boost applied.

Bronze cashback: how it is calculated

Bronze investors earn €10 for every full €1,000 invested on the Primary Market, tracked cumulatively — several smaller investments can add up to a full €1,000. Bonus investments count towards this total once they reach Funded status. Secondary Market purchases do not count towards Bronze cashback: only Primary Market investments qualify. Each cashback payout appears as its own transaction, named “Leaderboard Cashback”.

Does buying on the Secondary Market help my Bronze cashback?

No. Secondary Market purchases count towards your Leaderboard rank and league, but only Primary Market investments earn the €10-per-€1,000 Bronze cashback.

Do I get cashback for investments made before the Leaderboard launched?

No. Bronze cashback is never paid retroactively. It applies only to investments that reach Funded status after the feature launches. The launch rules below explain how this works alongside vouchers.

Where does Leaderboard Cashback show up in my account?

Leaderboard Cashback is combined with your referral cashback into the single Cashback figure shown in Overview → Total Profit and its accompanying chart. In Statements → Account Summary it is included in that same Cashback field and does not get a separate line. In Statements → Transactions, each payout appears as its own transaction named “Leaderboard Cashback”, and filtering by Cashback payments shows both types together. In your tax statement, Leaderboard Cashback is included in your total Rewards figure and is also listed as its own line in the Rewards breakdown table.

If I skip straight from Bronze or Silver to Platinum, do I get the Gold voucher too?

Yes — if this happens through normal investment growth, you receive the voucher of every league your total passes through, plus the ongoing benefits of each. The exception is backdated Bronze cashback, which is never paid retroactively. The launch rules below explain how this differed at the moment the Leaderboard first launched.

I was already in Gold or Platinum when the Leaderboard first launched — do I get the vouchers of the leagues below that too?

No. Initial launch placement grants only the voucher of the league you were placed into at that moment, not the vouchers of any lower leagues you would theoretically have passed through.

When the Leaderboard first launched: what happened to existing investors?

Both cashback and vouchers follow the same non-retroactive principle at launch, but they apply it differently:

• Cashback — Bronze cashback is never paid retroactively. Only investments that reach Funded status after the Leaderboard launches count towards the €10-per-€1,000 calculation, regardless of how much you had invested before launch.
• Vouchers — this launch rule is the exception to the “skip a league, get every voucher along the way” rule above: if you were already in Gold or Platinum at the moment the Leaderboard first launched, initial launch placement granted only the voucher of the league you were placed into, not the vouchers of any lower leagues.

In short: going forward, climbing through leagues earns you every voucher along the way; at the one-time initial launch snapshot, you only got the voucher for the league you landed in.
