Can I withdraw from Maclear to a bank account in someone else's name?

No. Under AML regulations, Maclear only processes withdrawals to bank accounts registered in the same name as your Maclear investor account. Transfers to third-party accounts are not permitted regardless of the reason (Maclear General Terms and Conditions, sections 3.5 and 3.8). You can withdraw to any verified IBAN registered under your name that has been used for a deposit on your Maclear account.
Why does Maclear not allow withdrawals to third-party accounts?
This is a requirement under Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Maclear is obligated to ensure that funds are returned only to the verified source — the same account from which they were deposited. This protects both the investor and the platform from fraudulent transactions (Maclear General Terms and Conditions, section 3.5).
What if I changed my legal name (marriage, divorce, or other reason)?
If your legal name has changed, your Maclear account and bank account must reflect the same name before withdrawals can be processed. Contact support@maclear.ch and provide a photo of your new identity document showing your updated legal name — the team will update your verification accordingly.
What counts as a verified IBAN on Maclear?
A verified IBAN is any bank account from which you have previously made a deposit to Maclear. Once a deposit from that account is successfully received, the IBAN is automatically registered in your profile and becomes available for withdrawals. IBANs cannot be added manually — they must be verified through an incoming transfer. To add a new IBAN, see Article.
