The Maclear custodial wallet is a built-in wallet linked to your account. It is created automatically — no setup, no external applications, and no technical knowledge required. The wallet stores 8LNDS tokens at each stage of the bonus cycle and USDC received after exchanging tokens. All operations take place directly inside the Maclear interface.

What a custodial wallet is

A custodial wallet is a wallet created and maintained by the platform. All technical aspects — including key storage, transaction execution, and interaction with smart contracts — are handled by Maclear. For the user, the wallet appears as a standard balance section in the account (скриншот: раздел Bonuses — BONUSES, TOKENS 8LNDS, Available tokens, Claimable tokens, кнопка Claim и кнопка Swap & Withdraw).

The alternative is a non-custodial wallet — a wallet fully controlled by the user, with no platform involvement. Examples include MetaMask and Trust Wallet. Non-custodial wallets are relevant for withdrawing USDC outside the platform, which is covered in Article.

How tokens move through the wallet

Tokens pass through three states before they can be exchanged:

— Tokens 8LNDS (total balance): the full amount assigned to you after each Snapshot, stored in the Reward System smart contract under vesting. — Claimable tokens: the portion unlocked by vesting this week — tokens that are ready to be credited to your balance. Pressing Claim moves them to Available. — Available tokens: tokens available for exchange on the USDC. These are the tokens you can act on immediately.

If Claim is not pressed for several weeks, the claimable amount accumulates and is transferred all at once when Claim is eventually pressed.

How to exchange tokens and receive USDC

Once tokens are in your Available balance, press Swap & Withdraw. This is a single operation that exchanges your available 8LNDS tokens for USDC at the current market rate and credits the result to your platform wallet. The current exchange rate is shown before confirmation: for example, 1 Token = 0.0173 USDC.

All operations inside the platform are free of charge.

How to withdraw USDC

USDC received after Swap & Withdraw can be kept in the platform wallet or withdrawn to an external non-custodial wallet on the Base network. To withdraw, enter the external wallet address and confirm the operation. When adding a new external wallet address, 2FA confirmation is required. Always verify the address before confirming — withdrawals to incorrect addresses cannot be reversed. Fees apply when withdrawing to an external wallet and depend on network conditions.

The Saturday Snapshot converts points to tokens (100 points = $1). Claim weekly as 2.5% unlocks, then exchange for USDC via Swap & Withdraw.

How the Maclear Bonus System Works and Why the 8LNDS Token Is Used

Alongside EUR cash bonuses, Maclear runs a parallel point-based system that converts to 8LNDS tokens. Bonus points accumulate at 1%–5% of each investment depending on Loyalty level. Every Saturday the platform runs a Snapshot — points convert to tokens via the Reward System, and tokens vest at 2.5% per week over 10 months. Activation in the Bonuses section is required.
